The boughs of lumbering trees

It’s a beautiful sunny Sunday

Amidst the autumn leaves

Blooming blossoming flowers

The petals are so unique

Spider spins a story

For the flightly birds and bees

Sparrow alights upon a branch

A wonder for all to see

Sitting on a love seat

Sipping a cup of tea

You may wonder at dreams of clouds

A pitch for what is the key

It’s “C” said a ladybug

To a snail who happened to be

Amidst the garden of vegetables 

Fruit and flowers that we need

An intergalactic pathway

Twinkling through the spruce trees
